Start with the Overview:

Your business overview gives your audience a snapshot of the professional you and a compelling idea of what you do for a living.

Set Up Your Boards:

When people are looking for their dream home, they will often create boards featuring things that are important to them.  An example: bathrooms, bedrooms, home theater, pool, landscape, and community boards. They will then go on a search for pins that match what they’re looking for.  They add interesting pins to their boards.  It works on the same principle as a “share” on Facebook; valuable exposure for you.

Add Your Pins:

Within each board, people add appealing photos.  This could include a dynamite pool, the perfect bedroom, and photos of the community.

Use this simple formula to fit it all together and lead to possible sales:

Set up your boards.  Include the title, description (keywords), and category on each board.  Create boards that will interest your target market.

Add pins to your boards. Add a photo of a property listing, for instance. Choose an exterior photo or an interesting interior one. Add it to the appropriate board.

Add SEO. Every pin should include a keyword-rich description along with a link back to your listing, website, blog post, etc. People use hashtags to find the photos they’re interested in.  Pinterest recommends no more than 20 hashtags.

Build Your Audience.  Follow pinners who are in your target market.  They will more than likely follow you as well.

Use Pinterest Tools.  Make it easy for people to pin your online photos. Add a pin button to your website and blog. Set up rich pins. This will give your pins higher visibility among other things.  Like other social media networks, video and photo pins can be promoted on Pinterest.

Pinterest users are highly engaged and ready to buy.  Take advantage of this creative and powerful social network for your business.
