The world of content creation is constantly changing. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an indispensable ally. Whether you’re a blogger, marketer, or social media influencer, leveraging AI can transform your content strategy. Here are three practical tips on how you can utilize AI for content creation, starting right now.

AI-Powered Writing Assistance
The first step in content creation is often the most daunting: writing. AI writing tools like Grammarly and OpenAI’s GPT-4 can ease this process. These tools not only help in correcting grammar and spelling but also suggest style improvements and generate creative content ideas. For bloggers, AI can help in creating compelling blog post outlines, while marketers can use these tools to craft engaging ad copy or catchy social media posts. The key is to use AI as a collaborator that enhances your unique voice and ideas.

Data-Driven Content Strategy
Understanding your audience is crucial in content creation. AI tools like Google Analytics and BuzzSumo use machine learning to analyze user data and content trends. They provide insights on what topics are resonating with your audience, the best times to post, and which type of content (blogs, videos, infographics) is most effective. Utilizing these AI-driven insights allows you to craft a content strategy that is not only data-informed but also highly targeted and effective.

Visual Content Creation with AI
In a world where visual content is king, AI offers tools like Canva’s Magic Resize and Adobe Sensei that help in creating visually appealing graphics and videos. These tools use AI to suggest design layouts, color schemes, and even generate images and animations. For creators who aren’t design experts, these AI tools democratize the ability to produce professional-quality visual content quickly and effortlessly.

Implementing AI in Your Content Creation Workflow
Incorporating AI into your content creation process is about finding the right balance. Start small, perhaps with AI-assisted writing or data analytics, and as you become more comfortable, expand to other areas like visual content creation. Remember, AI is a tool to augment your creativity and efficiency, not replace it.

Save Money on Facebook Marketing by Using Curated Content
I don’t want you to misunderstand this article. I’m not at all saying that you should be lazy and just rip off or copy your competitors wholesale. I’m also not saying that you should be involved in some sort of copy-and-paste marketing because that’s not going to work.

Sadly, that’s precisely how too many Facebook marketers defined ‘curated content.’ They just find content that seems to be related to their niche and run with it. In fact, many think that as long as a piece of content has its target keywords in the titles of blog posts and articles, this is ‘good enough.’ Unfortunately, ‘good enough’ is never good enough in the dog-eat-dog world of Facebook content marketing. Nothing but the best will do.

Instead, you need to identify your competitors’ best content, as well as highly popular content produced by third parties. You use these materials to test your page in terms of response. If you notice that a lot of your page fans respond better to a specific type of content, then you need to produce more of that content.

You need to either find other third-party content you can curate, or you can come up with your own stuff. Whatever the case may be, this is a simple example of finding what works. When you start your page, you really don’t know what will work. You don’t even know if enough people would like your page. What’s important is you keep showing content out there to the extent that some people would engage with it. Some people might like it enough, that they would like your page. When enough time passes, you should be able to see certain patterns. You should be able to see which pieces of content are your most successful posts. You publish this type of content more often to see if you can maintain your engagement level. If that’s the case, then find more of the same type of content, come up with your own version, and increase your engagement levels.

This will also enable you to get more likes on your page. How? Since you know what type of content is popular and what kind of themes and topics keep coming up, you can target the interests of your average user and drive traffic using Facebook’s lookalike audience feature.

Engagement is the linchpin of successful content. Don’t just focus on getting likes though. You should scale up your engagement types and intensity. Focus first on likes. Once you achieve a high enough level, encourage your readers to post comments. Keep running experiments. Once you get them to post lots of comments, go to the next level and encourage them to share. Make no mistake, user engagement is no different than traffic – you have to optimize it. You have to scale it up. You have to fine-tune it so it eventually leads to your ultimate goal: conversions. This is the part of the process that actually produces money in your bank account. This is where things get real.

The heart and soul of a marketing video are not the typical bells and whistles. It’s not the diagrams, infographics, or layout. It definitely has nothing to do with how smooth, flawless, or sharp the images are.

Instead, what makes a video truly effective is its content. I am of course talking about its script. If you don’t get this right, you have just wasted your money on creating a marketing video.

How do you write highly effective scripts? How do you outsource it? How can you tell whether the video script that have for your marketing video is solid? It will have the following five hallmarks. Ideally, you should insist on all five.

Tip #1 – Use Plain English – Eighth-grade English has very few five-dollar words. Most words are short, easy to understand and very accessible.

Highly effective video scripts are written in plain English. They don’t try to dazzle or impress the viewer by blasting them with all sorts of jargon terms and acronyms. You come off as somebody who is trying to hide ignorance when you do that. You end up looking like somebody who is trying too hard to impress the viewer.

Tip #2 – Keep It Short – Most people do not have the time of day to listen to a long speech. This is the reason why most people don’t even read online articles. They just scan for keywords. If they see what they’re looking for, that’s when they will read a little bit more of the article. Otherwise, they’re just scanning through. It’s kind of like going through your Facebook feed on your mobile device. You don’t have the time to thoroughly read every link. The same applies to video. Highly effective marketing videos are short and to the point.

They communicate a wide range of benefits tied to the solution the video promotes. They do this using many different signals and it operates on many different levels. It operates on an emotional level, a logical level as well as a conceptual level. You have to understand that the ability to tell a story quickly enables you to communicate clearly in a very short period of time.

Tip #3 – It’s Easy to Vocally Emote – Well-written video marketing scripts are very easy to vocally act out. You just need to read a word and read the next word that follows it in the sentence to instantly know that you have to raise your voice a little bit, sound concerned, sound suspicious, sound excited, and a hundred other emotional signals you can send with your voice.

Great scripts are very clear as to the kind of emotional twists and turns they demand. Bad scripts make you sound like you’re just reading off a TelePrompter or you’re just reading a book. It’s dull, lifeless, and very generic. You run the risk of sounding like some sort of robot.

Tip #4 – Mention Case Studies or Stories – If you are able to tell a story you will be able to connect with people on a very personal note. People are not convinced by just raw data. You have to at least present that data in a form people can engage with. People use a story form to make sense of the world. You should do the same with your marketing videos. By including a case study or tool in the video, you make it clear to the prospect that you’re not just making stuff, but there is some hard science or hard numbers behind the claims of benefits the video is talking about.

Tip #5 – Have an Emotional Call to Action – Highly effective video marketing scripts tie the benefit the prospect would get from buying a product with the call to action. Effective scripts don’t just say, “Click the order button” or “Click subscribe now”. Instead, they talk about the benefit and tie it to that action. For example, the script would say, “Gain the confidence you felt you’ve lost by losing the spare tire around your midsection. Take action today”. That’s much better than just saying, “Click here” or “Click the link in the description below”.

Whether you are writing your own video or having it written by somebody else, make sure the five tips listed above are present in the script.

By using the right e-mail marketing campaign, you can reach a huge number of people without them even having to come to you. You can message them right in their inboxes and you’ll be able to convey as much information as you want to them right then while you have their attention. The effectiveness of this strategy though depends on many factors. Simply getting their attention doesn’t mean you’ll be able to make sales. You need to be able to maintain that attention for long enough for them to actually take your message on board.

Your message needs to be convincing enough to actually make them want to buy your product or sign up for your service or get deleted before they even get read.

Email marketing campaigns are a science more than an art, meaning that they can be tested, fine-tuned, and honed. Take a look at the methods you need to use in order to make your e-mails more convincing and more likely to convert your leads into paying customers.

Testing

The most important way to improve your e-mail marketing campaign is to be able to test and measure its success over time. In other words, you need to be able to make gradual and slight changes to the precise wording and strategies you use in your messages so that you can then see directly how these are affecting the number of people that actually click on your links and go to your site to buy something. That means you need to treat your marketing services very carefully and precisely and to make measured changes that you can then see the results of. This way you can tweak little elements like the precise wording, the time you send out the message, or the type of subject heading you use.

This is something that professional email marketing services can help you with.

Receptiveness

An aspect of marketing that many people will overlook is receptiveness. In other words, you need to message the right demographic with the written text but just as importantly you need to message them at a time and in a way that they will be likely to be most receptive to. When it comes to joining mailing lists, one of the most important things you can do is to make sure that your sign-ups are aware that you are going to use their details for marketing purposes. You might get fewer people joining the list, but those who do won’t be annoyed to get your messages. That means that they will be more likely to read it and more likely to respond favorably to what you’re saying.

Planning

A great marketing strategy will take place across multiple platforms and won’t just incorporate one medium. In other words, if you want to maximize your email marketing then you need to use other methods to tie them together. That might mean launching a competition or offer and giving the discount only to those on your mailing list, or anything else that takes a more cohesive approach to marketing rather than seeing it as lots of disconnected techniques.

Some people may think that since email marketing has been around for a very long time, it’s old-fashioned and not too effective. I respectfully disagree. Email marketing is one of the most effective, reliable, and inexpensive ways to stay in touch with your contacts.

Email marketing is the art of making money from your email list. As long as you have a list of responsive prospects of customers who recognize you as an expert in your niche, they will definitely be up for offers of value that you provide for them.

How does successful email marketing work?

If you have a website and you draw in some traffic, people will come, absorb some information and go away. However, if you managed to capture their emails, you can email them again and again – offering them nuggets of useful information or giving them offers that they might be interested in.

Here are 5 of the common email marketing no-nos done by email marketers:

Blatant pitching in hopes that they make a sale – Although email marketing is a lot about numbers, blatant pitching can make even a list of thousands turn into dust as they either spam list you or become unresponsive to your offers.

Focusing too much on quantity instead of quality – While the list size is important, the real money is in the relationship you have with your list. Focus on making a genuine connection with your subscribers If you want them to contribute to your bottom line, focus on making a genuine connection with your subscribers.

Using spammy-looking links – You should always use a free link shortener like https://bit.ly.

Using “taboo” words that increase the spam score of your emails – You should avoid words that come off as spam by the spam blockers such as FREE, ‘SALE”, BEST PRICE, BIG BUCKS, ADDITIONAL INCOME, etc.

Avoid using full capitals in any part of your email, whether it’s in your headline, copy or call to action. This increases spam score and sounds too salesy which lowers conversions. Treat your list with respect.

Good email marketing practices must be employed if you wish to build a responsive list that listens to you. Avoid these five email marketing no-nos.

You can have the biggest budget in the world to pay for Facebook Ads but if you don’t have the kind of design that will resonate with your target audience, you’re wasting your money.

Ad design is a very important aspect of Facebook Ads. Not only does Facebook allow you to advertise in a variety of formats, but they also give you a very thorough reporting tool so you can see which ads are working and which ads aren’t. When you have this information at hand, you can easily adjust your design so you can increase your click-through rates and your conversions.

Here are a few ad design strategies you can use to optimize your Facebook Ads:

Use High-Quality Images

No one likes to look at images that look like it’s been shot by a 3-year-old. Messy amateur shots are the biggest pet peeves of Facebook users. They see enough amateur photos from their friends’ updates. So you need to use high-quality images to catch their attention. The photos you take yourself are best.

Use Location-Specific Images

If you’re targeting a local area, you should use local images. Or you can shoot a video in a popular local hangout. When people see you know their area intimately, they’ll like you immediately. It’s refreshing to see an ad that offers up something not many other advertisers do – like capturing the local scenery. It’s much easier to relate to something local than something that’s thousands of miles away.

Use Visual Contrast, Filters or Overlays

Even if you aren’t artistic by nature, you can use photo editing software with nice filters on it. If you aren’t confident in your skills, you can look up some inspiration online. Check out popular graphic design sites, find the kind of designs you think your audience will like and use that as inspiration to come up with your own design.

Use Carousel Ads to Create a Visual Story

When done right, carousel ads can actually tell a story. You just need to have a series of interconnected images that form part of a whole picture. People love stories. Try to think of a twist to your story to get them engaged with your advertisement.

Email marketing is probably the most misunderstood kind of marketing out there. There are other ways to market your business but I’m here to break the email marketing myths with a few facts.

MYTH: Email Marketing is Annoying

FACT: 74% of active online adults prefer to receive their marketing messages through email rather than direct mail. There’s a common misconception among online marketers that most leads find marketing emails annoying.

MYTH: Targeting Leads Isn’t Really Necessary

FACT: Segmenting your contacts increases email click‐through rates by 16%. This means that by targeting your leads through individual personalized profiles you will increase your chances of getting people to not only check your emails but also of getting them to click through your links.

MYTH: Yeah, Messaging is Important But…

FACT: A well‐crafted marketing email increases your conversion rates. 66% of online consumers have bought something based on an email marketing message. 71% of people aged 45 to 54 made their purchasing decisions based on email marketing messages.

MYTH: I Need a Large List to Be Effective

FACT: Large mailing lists can distort your results. This is because you’ll be sending emails to lots of people that are never going to buy something from you. By simply deleting email addresses that haven’t engaged with your emails in the past 12 months can improve your delivery rates, click‐through rates, and conversion rates by 3% to 5%.

MYTH: Subject Lines Aren’t That Important

FACT: Subject lines are more important than you would imagine. Short subject lines (around 9 characters long or less) open rates can reach up to 58%. Personalized subject lines such as those that used the recipient’s name, were 22% more likely to be opened. 64% of recipients will open an email based on the subject line alone.

MYTH: Social Media Is Better Than Email Marketing

FACT: Email marketing is way more effective at acquiring new customers for your business than social media efforts. An email marketing campaign is 40 times more effective at customer acquisition than a Facebook or Twitter campaign. 72% of people favor promotional content through email over social media.

MYTH: Email Marketing Takes Too Much Time

FACT: Automation is taking over in the email marketing industry. Most email management tools are being used by about 82% of business-to‐business and business‐to‐customer companies. This has helped them increase their conversion rates by as much as 50%. Automated email marketing messages average 70.5% higher open rates and 152% higher clickthrough rates.

So What Does All This Mean?

FACT: It means that if you’re not using customized, targeted, interesting email marketing, you are leaving money on the table. It’s a must for both customer acquisition and retention.

How to Create Great Images for Your Facebook Ads
When scrolling through your Facebook home feed, some ads will instantly catch your eye, whereas others you’ll simply pass by.

So what is the difference between these? Which ones really grab your attention and which ones fail to make any impression? Often, the difference comes down to the image that is used. While a headline can make a big difference too, an image can convey a lot more information in a much shorter time and as such is potentially more impressive when it comes to quickly getting us to sit up and take note.

This then begs the question as to what it is exactly about certain images that make us pay attention. And how can you channel this in your own advertising campaigns in order to ensure that you get the maximum bang for your buck?

Images That Grab Attention
The first thing to think about is what type of image gets us to look up in the first place. Studies show for example that images of people are more likely to get us to pay attention than any other object or subject matter. We are simply hardwired to pay attention to faces and other humans because it has clear evolutionary value.
The other type of image that grabs attention is anything that uses highly contrasting colors. If your images are bright red or yellow, then this will make them pop off the page more. Red in particular always makes us take notice and this works particularly well on a light blue/white background.

Tell a Story
Getting attention is your first objective. Getting your audience to actually engage with the advertisement and consider clicking it is the next. To do this, it can help to try and tell a story through your image. Don’t simply show what it is you want your audience to think about but instead try to evoke it and hint at it. For example, if your ad was about a party, then it might actually work better to show a lipstick-stained glass rather than showing the party itself. This forces the viewer to imagine what the image is trying to show, which instantly grabs their attention and makes them more inclined to actually think about your ad versus scrolling past.

What you want them to imagine meanwhile is always going to relate to your value proposition. In other words, ask yourself what kind of lifestyle is linked to your product and how you want your audience to feel looking at it.
